A Study on Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio in Covid 19 Patients in Tertiary Care Centre

Introduction: COVID-19 pandemic is spread by droplet infectionwith symptoms of fever, cough,diarrhea,dyspnea, fatigue, myalgia, headache, anosmia and ageusia. Morbidity mortality higher amongelderly in patients with comorbidities especially Diabetes Mellitus(DM). Biomarkers inflammationare potential predictors for prognosis covid patients.Aim: To analyze the association NLR 19 diabetic status Objective:1. studyNLR without symptoms2. study between non-diabetic patients.3. symptomatology diabeticcovid patients.Methodology: 3000 RT-PCR confirmed Covid who attended triage op were included afterEthicscommittee approval.Patients grouped as andwithout DM.The also analyzed based on symptoms. Blood samplesonreporting used analysis andparameters using SPSS23.0 version.Result: There no statistically significant difference among symptomatic asymptomaticpatients. But markedly raised diabetes mellitus.
